Project Description
MILAN RISTIC
The Serbian national record holder in both the indoor 60 meter hurdles and the outdoor 110 meter hurdles, Milan Ristic represented his native country in the Olympics for the first time in Rio in 2016. As a junior runner in the U20 ranks, he was a national champion for Serbia in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m. He later became a fixture in the 110mH and is undefeated in his home country in that event since 2010. Milan came to the United States as a college recruit at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he set school records in nine different events, including five indoor and four outdoor events. After two years at UNC Asheville, he transferred to the University of California at Berkeley where he competed as a senior in 2014 and represented the Golden Bears in the 2014 NCAA DI Indoor Championships. Milan has since represented Serbia at the 2015 IAAF World Championships, 2016 European Championships and 2016 Olympics in his signature event, the 110 meter hurdles.
