KIMBERLY HOLLAND

webKimberly_HollandAs President and CEO of Icon Management Inc. Kimberly N. Holland represents a group of elite track and field stars. She is an anomaly in today’s sport industry, with a track record that is impressive and promises to grow beyond measure.

However, over a decade ago, no one — not even Kimberly — could foresee a career as a sports agent for world-class athletes.

A Washington, D.C. native, Kimberly earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Norfolk State University. Upon graduation, she joined the staff of Senator Edward M. Kennedy as a Legislative Foreign Policy Aide on Capitol Hill.

In 1994, she moved to Atlanta for a career in concert promotions with Haymon Entertainment.

After that, she joined the staff at LaFace Records Legal Affairs division as a Paralegal before returning to school to earn her Jurist Doctorate at Regent University School of Law.

During her final year in law school, Kimberly was approached by an Olympic medalist to help manage his career. As word of her reputation grew, she signed other Olympians, including Shawn Crawford and Bernard Williams, and Icon Management was born.

“Go with God, go with grace, go with your passion, and watch how God will bless you more than you can imagine — I’m a living testimony of that.” — Kimberly N. Holland

Kimberly has been featured in a number of publications, including Ebony, Atlanta Tribune, Sister 2 Sister, Uptown, USA Today, and the Washington Post. She is also a highly sought-after legal and sport expert who has spoken on panels that include BESLA, University of Virginia School of Law, Howard University, and North Carolina Central University School of Law, among others.

Black Enterprise named Kimberly one of its most intriguing businesspeople of 2008. Today, Kimberly is still rising to the top of her game representing the very best in track and field. Her current client roster boasts Olympic gold medalist LaShawn Merritt and Shawn Crawford among others. With plans to grow her company by adding athletes from the NFL, NBA, and other sport franchises, and by adding an entertainment division, Kimberly is well on her way to becoming an icon in her own right.
