CHIDI OKEZIE
Chidi Okezie is an American-born sprinter of Nigerian descent, competing internationally for Nigeria. Chidi ran collegiately at Hampton University, where he was named first-team All-MEAC in the 4×400-meter relay. He was also named third-team All-MEAC in the 200m and 400m. He captured gold at the 2012 World Junior Championships as part of Team USA’s 4x400m relay group. Chidi was the bronze medalist at the 2016 African Championships.
MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- WON GOLD IN 4X400M RELAY IN 2012 WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR TEAM USA.
- FINISHED 5TH AS PART OF NIGERIA’S 4X400 TEAM AT 2016 WORLD INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS.
- WON 400M BRONZE AT THE 2016 AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS.
- FIRST-TEAM ALL-MEAC IN 4X400M RELAY.
- THIRD-TEAM ALL-MEAC IN 200M.
- THIRD-TEAM ALL-MEAC IN 400M.
