AJOKE ODUMOSU

Nigerian native Ajoke Odumosu, more affectionately known as “AJ” is one her country’s top track and field athletes. A 2007 graduate from the University of South Alabama at age 19, AJ represented Nigeria at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012. After reaching the semifinal round of the 400 meters in 2008, she made the switch to 400-meter hurdles for 2012 and made the Olympic final. She has also competed in three World Outdoor Championships and one World Indoor Championship over the course of her career.
